The San Jose Bujinkan Dojo welcomes new members. No prior martial arts experience is required to join. However, due to the nature of training and focus on jissen gata (real-world techniques), only adult participants (18 years of age or greater) will be permitted. Interested participants are invited to submit queries to alanpoonmd@gmail.com. However, note that continued membership is selective and must conform to the guidelines set forth by the Bujinkan Dojo. Those who cannot abide by these guidelines will be turned away.

Prospective members are kindly asked to email the instructor prior to attending a training session. All members are required to sign a liability waiver prior to participation. The mat fee is $15 per class, or $50 on a per-month basis. Collected dues contribute to rental space and administration, and are never used for profit by the instructor.

Training is conducted every Friday, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m., at Santa Clara Kenpo Academy in Santa Clara, CA.
